Kindercentrum Bolleboos offers toddler care and after-school care to children aged 2 to 12 years. Bolleboos is located in the school building of primary school 't Baeken on the Faktorij in Alkmaar North. This school is located next to daycare center and BSO Rollebol. Together they form IKC 't Baeken – Rollebol. IKC stands for Integrated Child Center. With this IKC offers shelter and education under one roof. The children are in one familiar place all day long. They see the same faces, which makes them feel more at home. There is an intensive cooperation between school and childcare. And that benefits the development of the child.
Kindercentrum Bolleboos offers pre-school care for children aged 2 to 4 and out-of-school care to children from primary school 't Baeken, but children from other schools in Alkmaar Noord can also make use of this great location.
BSO Bolleboos consists of four pleasant groups. Each group has a contemporary design appropriate to the age of the children. There is a separate 'rest corner'. In this secluded corner the children can relax or read a book. Activities such as drawing, crafts or playing in one of the play corners take place in the group. The children can also work with construction material or play a board game.
The toddler care with VVE offers care to 16 toddlers from 2 to 4 years old. This group is also located in primary school and therefore offers a pleasant transition to primary school.
The outdoor space is shared with the school. Here too, the children can use all the facilities that the school offers, including outdoor toys and playground equipment.
Next to Bolleboos are the playing fields of the De Groene Voet park, where you can fly a kite, play ball or enjoy a nice climb. Children can also use the 't Span playground. After-school activities are organized in consultation with the school.
BSO is after-school care and consists of VSO before-school care and NSO after-school care. You are free to compose your own combinations of VSO and NSO per day. You can also opt for holiday care and/or care on timetable-free days.
Activities are offered at the BSO after the table moment. To make these activities as challenging as possible, we offer theme-oriented activities in the age categories 4+, 6+ and 8+. We want to give children the opportunity to grow with a challenging day program, personal attention and variety in activities. The main themes are dealt with on a rotating basis in a four-weekly cycle.
We want to stimulate the broad development of the children with the various themes. Sports and games are a daily recurring theme, because we believe that exercise is an important aspect of a child's development. That is why this part will be part of the BSO program on a daily basis.
